Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series title. Supporters across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Enormous Turnout
Local events included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
